Work started on new Gondola at Crystal Mountain
Thu 29 April 10Work has started on a new 8-person gondola at a cost of $5.3million at Crstal Mountain in Oregon, USA and it should be ready for the start of the 2010/11 season. They are also planning a new jib-focused Terrain Park off the Forest Queen chairlift
Copper Mtn to spend big on snowmaking for 2010/11
Sat 17 April 1025% increase in snowmaking capacity will be spread throughout the mountain, with new systems being installed in the Timberline area, adding significant intermediate terrain
New Gondola at Lenzerheide for 2010/11
Sun 11 April 10The ropey old bubble from Canols to Scharmoin is being replaced with a brand new 8-person gondola which can handle up to 2,200 people per hour. The base will also be redeveloped.
